Hi,

on two older machines (pre-2000 motherboards) reboot is possible, but
poweroff is NOT.

On is running XUBUNTU 6.10 Edgy Eft, which brings XUBUNTU back into
play.

The other one was running XUBUNTU 6.10 Edgy Eft, and is now running a
fresh install of XUBUNTU 7.04 Feisty Fawn.

So for me this issue is still annoying, and I would like to see it
solved. BTW, Live-CDs and Win98 on those machines dont seem to have any
problems shutting down the machines.
