Hi, on two older machines (pre-2000 motherboards) reboot is possible, but poweroff is NOT.
On is running XUBUNTU 6.10 Edgy Eft, which brings XUBUNTU back into play. The other one was running XUBUNTU 6.10 Edgy Eft, and is now running a fresh install of XUBUNTU 7.04 Feisty Fawn. So for me this issue is still annoying, and I would like to see it solved. BTW, Live-CDs and Win98 on those machines dont seem to have any problems shutting down the machines. -- Power down after shutdown does not work... https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/43961 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of a duplicate bug. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
