I have the same GTF0 lookup failure on a Toshiba Portege Z830, running Linux
3.5.3. Looks like the ACPI table referencing GTF0 and GTF1 is SSDT1 (SataAhci).
They're declared external, but they're not mentioned in DSDT at all.

Any ideas where in the GNVS it should reside?

Anything I can provide to help get this issue solved?

It's great that the kernel bugzilla is back.

Can you please verify if the problem still exists in the latest upstream
kernel?

 [GTF0] Namespace lookup failure

GTF0 is not present in any of the tables attached.
Either the tables are broken, or we are not loading the
tables that the BIOS writer expects us to load.

The power chord issue may be yet a 3rd problem with this machine.
Does the system behave the same way if the toshiba_acpi
driver is not loaded?
