successfully migrated from the old NT world ?
Thanks,
Mark Abbiss

No, I don't think it does this (it certainly didn't in the first version). Several of
the 3rd party migration tool vendors offer this feature.
It should also be fairly easy to write something of your own to clear the attribute
value. I dare say Richard Puckett probably has something lying
Actually, there is a MS KB article which shows how to do this.

Yes -
emphatically YES! We've migrated 1000's of users in our own environment
due to a need to go from one forest to another. So I can tell you for
certain that it is qucik, painless, and simple.
You do
require two items to insure success:
1. Target domain must be in Native

It's available on the Windows .NET Server RC1 and RC2 CDs.
I haven't seen it available as a download.
Oh, sorry! It's included with the Windows Server 2003 CD (RC1 and RC2).

Title: Services for Netware
I am trying to migrate files from a NDS server to a MS Server and using the File Migration Utility from MS which comes with the Windows Services for Netware. My 1st trial run was horrible. Permissions were all wrong.
I thought I had the migration file correct.
I have a tech working here today and he mentioned to me that he heard that
MS will no longer be selling Windows 2000 Professional as of April 2003.
Has anyone else heard this?

This is outside this mailing lists realm but you guys have been so
