Dear All, This email came through from Matt Shardlow of Buglife - he did a talk at last years Sussex Biological Recorders Seminar:
Buglife was on last weeks Nature programme talking about 2006, weather, invertebrate populations and funding for biodiversity research and delivery. As ever a lot of material was recorded and hence some points we would consider important were not used, but I think the jist of the messages have come through. You can listen to it at:- http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/science/nature_20060925.shtml <http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/science/nature_20060925.shtml> Also please see attached details of an Action for Invertebrates workshop looking at the management of an important but often neglected riverine habitat. There is NO CHARGE for the workshop, and lunch is provided. Please let Ian Middlebrook [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> know if you will be attending so that he can order sufficient lunches. - Please feel free to forward this to any members or contacts who may be interested in attending. All best wishes, Penny Penny Green Biodiversity Records Officer Sussex Biodiversity Record Centre Woods Mill, Henfield West Sussex, BN5 9SD Direct Line Tel: 01273-497521 Fax: 01273-494500 e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.sxbrc.org.uk
