Dear Robin,
What an interesting find! I have looked through our Stoat records and
none of them appear to be from inside domestic dwellings. There are a
few records around stables etc.
Anecdotally, someone I know has a weasel or stoat living in their roof
and it sometimes stashes dead squirrels
They were regular in my roof here at Rye Harbour, until I blocked their
access... you forgot to say how smelly they are!
