Currently, we have a 3494 tape library and 3590 tape drives and 3590 tapes. We are planning to get a couple of 3592 tape drives. My question is, will we be able to use the 3590 tapes in the 3592 tape drives? I would think since the capacity of the 3590 tapes is only 20G/40G it would not be a good

The current 64 bits client is a IA64 client, so you cannot use it for the x86-64 Windows. In x86-64 Windows the drivers and services MUST be 64-bits, so i don't expect that the TSM Server and Scheduler runs under 64 bits Windows. But if you use an other scheduler (The Windows own scheduler is

What partition information are you talking about. Are you refereing to the steps where it has you run diskpart? Those aren't that complicated and most Windows admins know how to setup partitions with diskpart. I would bet those that don't won't undertake the WinPE restore to begin with. K
