A situation like that can be expected to be cause by a library failure, or failure of the path to the library. Use the library Web page or the mtlib command or similar to check out the condition of the library, and proceed from there. Do research in your TSM Activity Log and operating system

Hi, I have TSM installed in a windows test server and configured two TSM server instances in it. They work fine separately with their own storage pools and clients like on two different boxes. But when I change the password of admin on server2, server1 will be affected. Why? Thanks

Hello Howard, Yes i received a lot of messages cant find tapes in slot. I just received a mail from local system admin saying IBM did some intervention on the library for installing liocenses and i suspect that may have caused some malfunctioning in library which is unable to find the tapes

3584 date off by 6 years

This is a TSM version 5.3 for windows and I added the new TSM server (server2) from management console. The two servers listen on different ports 1500 and 1501.
