lost sqllib directory after upgrade

2010-03-25 Thread Stef Coene
Hi, Yesterday I tried to upgrade our test TSM server from TSM 6.1 to 6.2 (AIX 6.1). The installer crashed in the middle of the installation. I redid the installation and the second time, everything was ok. Except that the sqllib directory is missing from the home-directory of the tsm user

What fixed the issue was adjusting the service to execute this command ; C:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\server\dsmsvc.exe -o c:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\server1\dsmserv.opt And change the service to a user with permissions. Thanks for the reply's! -Oorspronkelijk bericht- Van: ADSM:

TSM 6.2.0.0 Linux client crash

2010-03-25 Thread c.hanover
At the moment, I'm just curious at the moment if anybody else has seen this issue: TSM 6.2.0.0 Linux client will crash if /etc/issue is larger than a 127 byte text file. 127 bytes or less of text, the client works fine. 128 bytes or more, and it segfaults. 127 bytes of random data copied

I _think_ I read somewhere that the upgrade should: 1- save all db2 instances 2- deinstall db2 9.5 (and TSM 6.1) 3- install db2 9.7 (and TSM 6.2) 4- run db2icrt on the instances saved 5- run some db2 commands to re-catalog the database of course I could very well be wrong. On 25 mrt 2010, at
