Hi all,
What are the IBM SAN data gateways that work fine with TSM 6. I don't see
enough information about data movers in TSM books. Any reference or document
will be appreciated.
Thanks
William,
It looks to me as though this node NETAPP (and judging by the ANR0406
message this is a Linux client local to the TSM Server) started writing its
backup data directly to tape about 9 and a half hours into its session
(rather than to DISK etc first - perhaps due to a DISK storage pool
I see this kind of processing with the TDPs for things like Lotus Domino,
which is why I can't backup Notes email directly to tape (can we say
shoeshine effect on 3TB TS1130 tapes) and suspect the same in your
situation. It performs an opens/closes for every file.

You can search for IBM TSM Technotes, and would thus find 1190372.

At least on Linux, the license file you're looking for is
