This change has been a pain point for us as well; the change resulted in every client install taking about twice as much disk space as before. We've manually deleted the extra language files in some cases of tight disk space, but have mostly resigned ourselves to it being another one of those

Systemd script DSMCAD

Hi, I am trying to do a systemd (Unit file script) to launch dsmcad: [Unit] Description=Tivoli Storage Manager Client After=network.target [Service] Type=oneshot ExecStart=/usr/bin/dsmcad RemainAfterExit=yes [Install] WantedBy=multi-user.target Would that be OK? Because as you can see here,

7.1.6.3 client apars

Anyone know what is fixed in 7.1.6.3 clients for Windows/Linux? I don't understand why IBM puts out a patch but you can't find the list of fixed apars for a couple of days afterwards? IMO, they should both be published at the same time. This link only shows up to 7.1.6.2
