Do we have any tool or software to manage tsm client scheduler from centralised
tool/software ??
Something like checking tsm logs and restarting tsm services without logging
into client server
Would really appreciate your inputs

I have done a script to install TSM on MAC and configure several things,
but it doesn't seem to be listening on the specific port. When I do:
netstat -atp tcp
What I see is
Active Internet connections (servers and established)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address

Its pretty easy, if library supports autoclean use that, if not checkin
cleaning tape into backup application and let that do the cleaning.

we use TS3200 auto clean and does not check in cleaner into TSM.
If drive needs to be cleaned library send alert via mail that drive needs
to be clean and after that it is cleaned automatically (you will get alert
for that also)
once the cleaner is near end of life library again will sent you
n
