If by 'accumulator' you mean that the NUM_FILES column is actually showing the
sum of the current row and the previous row/rows then I don't think this is the
case. It looks to me like there is an implicit ORDER BY NUM_FILES on the select

There is an option in TDP to back up a file group. I've never understood what
it is for. Looking online for information about NDF files, that same term,
"file group", popped up. So, I'd start there are see if that fits your use case.

Has anyone seen a case when a select from occupancy returns rows where the

Is there a way to backup NDF files as part of the database backup? I have a
customer with a database with an NDF file the use for 'archiving'. That
doesn't get included as part of the TDPSQLC BACKUP * FULL command. How can I
get that included in the SQL backup of the server? Or do I need to use
