We have a onsite data of more than 60TB on tapepools. We need access to this data all the time.
Currently we backup directly to tapepools without going to diskpool -migration- tapepool.
Reason is to keep similarly named files like file.1,file.2,file.3 file.9 stored on tape

18N2 Microcode was a killer botched upquite a fewof our tapes .. we thought we have lost thousands of files ... ( audit vol marked them as bad ). ( before backup copypool could be done.)
Finally we upgraded to 22U0 and all is fine.

Is there a recommended method for upgrading TSM 4.1 to 4.2 ?
I am using LTO 100Gb tapes.
My server is 4.1.2.0 and client is 4.1.1.0.
AIX is at 4330-08_AIX_ML.

The equivalent of q content volser damaged=yes ? I mean where does TSM
find this info ?
