Hi All,
I have a customer that is reporting that the server based option file
does not use the management class specified but when the same management
class is specified using the exact same command on the Windows Server client
itself, it works. Any ideas? The command used for the
requesting an
independent assessment. Thanks much!

my opinion it is not for medium to large businesses.
YMMV,

Are you using a Library Manager?
If so, you need to remove the volume history for that volume by typing
this command on the library manager instance:
del volhistory todate=today T00015 force=yes
That should get rid of all associated volume history transactions.

Hi Andy,
Do you know if the 6.1.0.1 version works for XSERVE as well? I tried the
fix of switching the java version preferences, but it seems to have no
effect. Thanks!

Hi Richard,
I believe the command you want to use is:
upd stg tapepool recl=99 reclaimpr=X (where x=number of reclaim processes
to start).

Hi David,
With regard to the ANR1401 Error, when a TSM volume fills up on an LTO

Subsequently, when a scratch volume is being mounted in the same drive and

Hi Lawrence,
This may sound basic, but have you checked to make sure that the other
drives are online from a Tivoli perspective? If you issue the q drive
command, tivoli will show you the drive statuses.

Hi all,
I am a Tivoli Administrator with a current Tivoli 5.1 Implementation
certification (Nov 2003). I have 2+ years experience in a very dynamic
Enterprise environment with clients of all types. I am currently seeking
opportunities in the San Francisco Bay or Sacramento areas. If anyone
with restoring files with the wrong permissions. My management

our centers if this issue is not addressed. Personally, I really like the
tivoli product and am hoping that these items are addressed.

that this does not help with your current situation. All I can
suggest regarding that, is double-check that you are selecting the system
object only for the restore. Tivoli cannot restore the system object and
files simultaneously.
