(5.2.1.0)then the server release level (5.2.0.0) does not work. When I
updated the server (which had to be done anyhow) to same release it worked.
So I think this storage agent and server release are somehow tied to

Yep. works fine, both ways, HP in IBM and IBM in HP drives.
One tip, use only cleaning cartridges of HP in HP drives and IBM in IBM drives!

Open File Manager (OFM). We could backup and restore groupwise without any

What I understood is that these prices are so high because IBM can not
remove these numbers from passport advantage.
So what they did now is making the prices virtual very high so nobody will buy.
This proofs IBM/Tivoli will go back to their 'old' pricemodel.
They could have saved some people

is certified driver on the ftp.software.ibm.com choose storage and look for
the drivers)
Make use you use at least tsm server 4.2.1.6 or higer since there was a
problem with data corruption and the LTO devices in 4.2.x
These kind of selects you can run per node or with a wildcard * mostly will
run a few minutes or so.
