Eric,
Run you admin command line with ITEMCOMMIT. Example;
dsmadmc -itemcommit
This will make sure that your every command in macro is committed in TSM.

Sadi,
You can use client option set at the TSM server for the particular client(s). This is
three step process.
1. Define name for the Client option set.
Syntax - Define cloptset Option_Set_Name
2. Define options for this Client option set.
Syntax - Define clientopt Option_set_name
Where do you see the amount of data transferred? Do you see no change in data
transferred information in summary statistics or accounting log?

Bruce,
The management class you have shown over here is not the default management class. Can
you please send the backup copy group details of the default management class and
details of the tdpo.opt file?

You have to define volumes in the tape stgpool you have created in the Manual
library. Then you will see some number in Estimated Capacity of the Storage pool.
Depending upon the utilization and
number of tape volumes available in your tape storage pool TSM would calculate if any
storage space
Hi Zaini,
Did you try dsmserv restore db devclass=DISK-TMP dbvol=84849157.dbb commit=yes
Your file volumes are created in /ldb folder, but file volume name is 84849157.dbb

Oh! you are correct Jozef. Correct command syntax would be;
dsmserv restore db devclass=DISK-TMP vol=84849157.dbb commit=yes
The dbvol in restore db command specifies the TSM database volume not the sequential
volume on which TSM database backup was taken.
