I would like to add that command to the TSM Operational Reporting tool:
q vol acc=unavail
But, since that tool accepts only SQL statement, I have difficulties
converting the TSM command in SQL format!
Can somebody help you?
Hi,
It will be almost 2 weeks now that our TSM server (version 5, release 1,
Level 6.4 for Windows) do not retrieving any storage=offpool,
access=offsite...
We normally had an average of 1 to 2 tapes every day that were returning
from the offsite storage.
Here is the command:
q vol stg=offpool
tapes that are unavailable? Q
VOL
ACC=UNAVAIL. That would explain why reclamation wasn't completing.

All the files servers are NetWare Novell 6.0 server.

I have the 5.1.5.0 client running locally on a W2K (SP3) server. The
backup of this client is generally less than 1Gb per day, but the TSM
scheduler service on that client regularly terminates unexpectedly with

following error in the W2K event log:
I am still a rookie with TSM 5.1 running on Windows 2000 Server. BUT, I
was able to create a few command line files (.bat) that simplify the
checkout checkin automation process. Unfortunately I still have to
manually do things at a certain stage of this process.
