Andy I have the same issue, AIX 5.3 TSM 5.4.1.0, TS3500, LTO2 but only on a single drive. I put this drive online and it works for a couple of hours then the ANR8963E. Some temp errors show in the AIX error log, but only for this drive. The drive tested ok but was replaced anyway. No errors
