Hi, is that a Compaq ( Cambex) HBA or an IBM HBA? There are problems with the driver for AIX with a Compaq HBA we found. Although stated, the driver didn't support fabric connections, only AL and PtP. Our environment was AIX 4.3.3 Compaq HBA and Compaq SAN, trying to do LAN free backup, which failed.
