Can I create a Node Archive from a full-increment (full backup) in my backup diskpool? re-post

I did not receive an answer for this the first time I sent it 2 days ago . Has anyone had experience in this with making a node archive from the first full-backup in a primary diskpool? Ken Sedlacek AIX/TSM/UNIX Administrator [EMAIL PROTECTED] IBM Certified Specialist: RS/6000 AIX v4.3 Support

Hi Ken, You can't make an Archive from a diskpool. Archive are made over the NET. But you can export the Node data from your spare TSM Server to the TSM Server at your HQ. If you want to save data for Achive but don't want to make it over the NET you can make a backupset. - Michael
