Hi *SM'ers, we backup our Windows 2000 servers using a PRESCHEDCMD that does a NTBACKUP for the system objects - so they will later be saved as flat files. NTBACKUP takes about 3 minutes to complete. During this time TSM shows the event in status PENDING - but a session has already been established. If the startup window is too short for NTBACKUP to finish and the "real" backup to start - then the schedule is marked as "missed".
Does this work as designed? Server is TSM 4.1.1.0, Client is 4.2.1.18.
