In my environment, I have storage pools that are replicated to our DR site and
other storagepools that are not.
I'm setting up a TSMVE environment for our vmware farm. We have about 300 VMs
spread across 8 host servers. I currently have 8 data movers set up, one per
host server, and things
Hi David,
A new management class/copygroup whose destination points to the second pool is
key, to state the obvious.
One way to do this is to create a second data center node in a second policy
domain with its default management class destination pointing to the second
storage pool. Grant

HI David,
If your guest names correlate well with the two storage pools you can use the
VM and -VM keywords to direct them to the correct data mover. Wildcards are
supported. If your guest names are unpredictable, you may need to add a suffix
to the label of guests going to one destination.
That may not work with two domains. Cancel all that.

David,
You can also use the VMFOLDER option. In this way you can drag the VM in
the one folder in the vSphere client. Create a folder for each datamover
and let them back it up..
I have created a folder Production that's backupped daily and a folder Test
that is backupped on a weekly schedule.
