Hi,
We have the exact same situation. What's more the event keeps on missing

Hi, I have TSM 5.2 and I'm trying to erase the content of a volume, but I

I haven't found the good function yet.
And what is the parameter I have to use to rewrite data on volumes when
they are all full.

I've 'migrated' a TSM server from an F40 running AIX 4.3.3
to a p615 running AIX 5.2.0.
We are running TSM version 5.1.8.0 .
This has been installed on the new machine.
I copied across the dsmserv.dsk and dsmserv.opt files to
the new machine, added tape library devices again and

Hi Steven!
I don't know much about this library, so I don't know if it's supported by
Atape or not. If not, did you install the 64-bits device support package?

When can we expect to see the above mentioned Clientversion?? It's highly critical

Hi Flemming!
The last thing I heard is that the TSM 5.2.2 server and clients are
scheduled to be released 4th. quarter 2003, so that should be somewhere
during the next 29 days...

I would like to know which clients are connecting to which card.
I know I can look at each individual client at the dsm.opt file.
Is there a way to find this information from the server side?

Here is a script I use for disaster recovery testing so I do not have to
bring each and every tape. It will give you what you are looking for.

Thanks for the tips, I've tried them, but still have no success.
I checked the registry key and it's correct. I also tried the domdsmc set

I do have an open ticket with TSM support, but we're in the Level I Support

Hi Rob!
We LOVE VMWare.
Everything works perfect in VMWare.
All our testing with IBM x440 and VMWare ESX Server and Windows

preformance aswell.
Our BMR testing is so much so easier then ever.

I guess you will not search anymore for this functions.

Hi,
for ESX, you may want to contact an certified VMWARE partner
or directly an VMWARE sales representative.
They can give you official information you are searching for
in contrast to informations from the forum.
Alternatively, contact an IBM/Tivoli sales representative.
My representative tells
Take a look at the DELETE VOLUME command.
First take a look at the MOVE DATA command to move the
data off of the volume. Then you can delete the volume.
