We had a similar problem recently with one of our 3590 drives. In the end, it turned out of the little brush that cleans the heads in the drive was all but knackered. We had it replaced and it was fine again. I would say it's most likely a drive problem of some sort rather then TSM releated. As

I just got this error. The problem is with version 5.2 of groupshield. Even if groupshield is deactivated we were getting this error. We had to completly deinstall it to get TDP working correctly. You can either go back to a previous version or wait for 5.2.1 which should correct the problem.
