Tried to backup an image on a Windows Vista , Tsm client 5.5.1.10 . I didn't
use the VSS or LSVA option on my dsm.opt and used the static option:
SNAPSHOTPROVIDERIMAGENONE
INCLUDE.IMAGE C: mgimage imagetype=static
I run from the command line: backup image C:
I guess with the rumor conversion to DB2, it would no longer be feasible
to place the database on JBOD mirror by TSM. The recommendation may be
RAID 5 or 6 storage with fibre channel disks and not SATA disks. Am I
close?
