We did an upgrade of 5.5 to 6.2 in 2010 with a database in excess of 200 GB and the conversion process was well under 48 hours. Overall the upgrade process was painless and problem-free, so I'll add my voice to the chorus and say that if you can swing the outage, it's very worthwhile to go

That's what we did. We're still using the old v5 reporting module and I built a little report that does a filespace query and shows the age and backup date of each. That gives you a rough way to determine if a backup failed because its age will differ from the rest of the nodes in that schedule.

TDPO 5.5.4.0?

Oracle is telling us to install TDPO 5.5.4.0 for Windows because of a bug and I cannot find it anywhere. Does this version exist? Andy Huebner
