We let RMAN handle the deletion of backup sets and pieces. Every backup
has an unique set and piece name and will never be duplicated. RMAN
will tell the TSM server when to expire the backups.

I have done reclaim and movedata, but not migrate.
Expires on NDMP runs very fast as it only looks at whole backups (full
or differential). Instead of looking at hundreds of thousand little
files, in expires the entire backup.

are parameters within the NAS server that specified how many background tasks
that can be started. I use a single master script that in parallel start 4
