volume_name isn't a valid column in the
BACKUP table, and backup_date isn't a valid column in the VOLUMEUSAGE
table.

Kudos to you, Richard! That is exactly what the problem was! By indicating
binary prior to executing the get statement of the ftp, the files came down to
the LAN in a format NT could handle.
