I Believe if you use a backupset, you would not reed to restore the TSM server
at all, just install a BA Client and use it standalone using the LOCALBACKUPSET
this works for TSM 5.3 do not know about 5.2.6

Hi I had a similar experience with TDP for mySAP using DB2 ver 8.2 AIX and
landed up being able to use the files by restoring the backupset to disk, then
renaming the restored backup image to the format that DB/2 expects it to be in
(TSM has its own naming scheme which must get translated by Data
!

I may be wrong but I have seen this before when attempting an import if the
wrong tape from the export operation was moved ie one of the source tapes not
the output tape of the export operation. Just make sure you are using the
correct tape.
