Hi,
I'm working in a library sharing env.:
* library manager: TSM 5.1.9.3 on Solaris8
* 5 library clients: TSM 5.1.9.3 on Solaris8
* tape library: IBM 3584 (12 LTO drives)
For testing purposes I added a new TSM library client. It is also a
TSM 5.1.9.3 but it's running on a Linux RedHat
Hi,
I have 5 TB of disk stgspool available. I would like to create volumes
on it - what's the recommended size/vol. ? does TSM have a limit
regarding the number of volume it can handle ?
Thanks.
MirrorWriteDB parallel can improve backup / restore operations for
small files - you should then also consider to set dbpageshadow yes

Tim,
Have you tried to add also
objects=s:
in your 'define schedule' command ?
Or else you can try to add
objects=\\snap305572\share1
in the same command.

show this (actual start date is past scheduled start date).
Samples of sql query of the EVENTS table are below.
We have TSM Server 4.1 on AIX, clients are Windows NT or 98, version 4.1.2.0 or
4.1.2.12.
Has anyone out there experienced such things ?

My very first check
We checked that, but the user does have access to the files as an admin.
Also, other directories with the same access rights are seen in the restore
part of the GUI and can be restored from.
Thanks for the reply anyway.
