Fresh installation of TSM v5.2.2.0 with 3582L23 Gen2 drives, Device Drivers(5.0.6.7)used : IBM 3582LTO Library. IBM ULT3580-TD2 SCSI Sequential Device ( "for Tivoli Storage Manager" ). Disabled changer0 on Windows RSM. (unchecked enable library). Disabled all drives on RSM. (BTW: What does the event log say about the error?) You don't have to configure the changer at all for Windows. It should be controlled by the TSM Device Driver from within TSM only. Windows does not need to be able to talk to the library. You only need the device manager to check the SAN connection ;) Here is the details page of the library from IBM. Look for the required driver and firmware levels (I think you wanted to write "5.1.6.7" instead of "5.0.6.7", right?). You can only check your installation by configuring the library for TSM. On 2003 I only could be sure about the setup after I defined the path to the lib in TSM and it returned with no errors. See the Admin Guide about how to configure the devices to use TSM drives on 2000.
