Hi Folk, Currently I need to set up the off-site tapes storage on TSM. Here is my current setting:
TSM server v4.2 on AIX, IBM LTO 3584 libary. 40 tsm clients in one domain; Total capacity of data: 7TB we keep 7 version with 30 days retention period Requirement: Just some of the clients need the off-site tape storage, not all of them If I set up a copypool, and do the "backup stgpool" everyday. If one day I need the off-site tapes to recover a single file, need I bring all the off-site tapes on-site? It could be hundreds! Does anyone have relative experience? Any better solution?
