on each of the three systems. There is a single collection of database
backups that could be read or updated by any of the three instances of
TSM for Databases. Proxy node access was used to set up this arrangement.

No, it's not different, Oracle TDP works the same on Linux and AIX.
The only TDP I'm not sure of is the Windows version, but if I remember

disk would resolve that issue. Or heck, do all three to disk and xfer

However, they do not have TDP nor RMAN .
He is altering one tablespace at a time within one script and hoping
to achive multi-threading(multiple sessions) on TSM.
