Thanks Carlo and every one, this issue has now been resolved. Eric from Level2 helped us get the server back online. What had happened was that when we upgraded TSM, DB2 was still running. Even though TSM is halted, DB2 still runs in the background. IBM is planning to fix this issue in future fix pack's. Had a similar issue, but only on machine startup. This was caused by needing to have suid turned on on the tsm code's file system. Haven't figured out how to do that in redhat enterprise yet? Tried editing fstab, but no joy. It seems you don't have any problem with db2 license...you are having issues with TSM server license.. what error message you have seen in db2diag.log during server startup...
