Re: Python client Internal_Api_Error

Hi,

Apologies for the delay, could you kindly check and see if this error is
still replicable? If yes, could you kindly reply privately using the "Reply
to Author" option and send me a log? The details for capturing the logs are
available here
.

Just to confirm, this error is getting thrown from the server, and isn't
related to the Python client library.

Cheers,
Anash P. Oommen,
AdWords API Advisor.

Different output for the same query!

2016-04-04 Thread Mehdi Zare
I'm running a simple query on AdWords API and get different result every
time I run it! Looks like Google just use some sort of random generator to
create this report.

See the data for the same date.

What I'm querying is 'Date','Clicks','Cost', 'HourOfDay',
'DayOfWeek','Ctr', 'Device' on "ACCOUNT_PERFORMANCE_REPORT" How's that
possible?!?!?!

Re: API (or report) access without Adwords Manager Account

2016-04-04 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Maurice,

If you want to use the AdWords API to pull reports then you would need a
Manager Account as the developer token which is used to access the API is
associated with a Manager Account.

However, if you want to pull reports via the UI, then you don't need a MCC
account. You can also use Adwords Scripts
, which is available
through the UI, to pull report data and also schedule periodical reports.

Please let us know if you have any other issues while using the AdWords
API.

Regards,
Shwetha
AdWords API Team.

Re: ImpressionReach/ UniqueCookies returning \"--\" for segment by day, all time data, shows correct value in the UI

2016-04-04 Thread 'Nadine Sundquist (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Suchit,

Have you tried picking *All time* in the AdWords user interface? It won't
give you any values, either. So, if you do *All time* for the user using
the AdWords API, it won't be any different than the AdWords user interface.
That should at least set an expectation for the users of your tool that
what you are displaying and what they are seeing through the AdWords user
interface is the same.

As for breaking down the calls into smaller intervals, that's a cool,
creative solution to your problem. Unfortunately, there isn't an easy way
of knowing what <100 is if you're trying to add up all of the days. There's
an AdWords Help Center article
 that has an
explanation on how the reach is calculated. You may be able to take
advantage of the mathematical explanation. Check it out here
.

Hoping that helps,
Nadine, AdWords API Team

 Hi Suchit,

Thanks for providing the screenshots and the report. I noticed that in
the AdWords user interface you chose *last 14 days*, while in the API
you chose *ALL_TIME*. If you change your choice in the AdWords user
interface to be *All Time*, you'll notice that you now get back *'--'* for
everything, which matches your API request. When you choose *All time* for
any request to AdWords, some fields will not be calculated for various
reasons such as processing time to calculate the request. You could also
change your API request to say *LAST_14_DAYS* to match your AdWords
user interface request. When you do that in your API request, you'll start
getting back numbers just like in the AdWords user interface.

 Cheers,
 Nadine, AdWords API Team

2016-04-04 Thread 'Josh Radcliff (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

I just tried opening the link in the guide in an incognito window, and I
saw *Test Account* on the form (see attached). Do you see the same?

Thanks,
Josh, AdWords API Team

Re: Do not trigger ads unless certain keywords are in the user search query.

2016-04-04 Thread 'Anthony Madrigal' via AdWords API Forum
Hello Bob,

Unfortunately, I do not think this is possible with AdWords or AdWords API.
You will need to add each of the keywords. As a workaround, you could add
"purchase" as one of your negative keywords
.

API (or report) access without Adwords Manager Account

2016-04-04 Thread Maurice Lourens
I need to get simple daily costs data for a large amount of Adwords
accounts where I got access to.
Those Adwords accounts do not use an MCC/Adwords Manager Account and it is
not possible to put them all in a MCC account.

In old versions it was possible to connect directly to a Adwords account
and not necessarily trough a MCC account but it seems that it is not
possible anymore.

I found a solution to make daily report and sent it to my application to
process e-mail attachment, but that's quite tricky.
Is there any other way to receive cost data without the use of
an MCC/Adwords Manager Account?

Maurice

Integrate our ads with google ads

we have a website where we will have companies advertise on our website. I
have the below questions please?

1) Are google adswords APIs the best way to manage these ads on our website?

2) Are there any $ cost of using google adwords API? Is it free?

Re: BiddingStrategyId not being returned in TargetSpend

2016-04-04 Thread 'Thanet Knack Praneenararat (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Hudar,

Excuse me for late response.
Recently, TARGET_SPEND has just been made to be able to use as in the *standard
*context as well (see guide

).
For a standard strategy, *biddingStrategyId* is not returned, as expected.

So, could you please confirm if you set up your bid as the *portfolio* or
*standard
*context?
If you're sure that your bid was set up in the *portfolio *context, could
you please send me more information, e.g., your client customer ID,
campaign ID and the most recent SOAP log showing that the bidding strategy
ID wasn't returned?

Please note that v201506 is already deprecated and will be sunset within 7
days from now.
I highly recommend you to upgrade to v201603 as soon as possible.
You can find more information our sunset schedule
 and migration
guide
.
