Re: Possible CriterionType for audience criterions and how to download information via reporting

2019-01-02 Thread 'Luis Xander Talag (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Sela,

Thank you for providing more information on your concern. To further
explain why it is "missing" in the Criteria Performance Report, if an
impression triggers multiple criteria then this report will only select the
criteria that AdWords deems most relevant as this is a single attribution
report.

Also, it seems that you are viewing the Audience Report in the UI, this is
equivalent to the Audience Performance Report in the API. With this, please
use the Audience Performance Report to retrieve the metrics for the
specific audience that triggered the impression. For this report, you may
refer to the Criteria prefixes

 to
know more information about the criteria.

Luis

Re: how to revoke a client account thats we gained access through an MCC

2019-01-02 Thread 'Luis Xander Talag (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Eran,

Thank you for providing more information. Can you confirm if the MCC of
company B is a sub-MCC of your MCC in company A? If so, it is not possible
for company B to remove your access to a specific client account because if
your email address already has access to their MCC, this means that the
OAuth2 credentials generated from this email will also have access to all
accounts under their MCC. You can refer here

for
more information about linking accounts. Otherwise, if your MCC is a
sub-MCC of their MCC, then the assumption is incorrect because your MCC
will have no access to their client accounts.

Let me know if you have further clarifications.

Thanks,
Luis

but don't find this option to set via API.Is there any way to change this

Re: Adding In-Market audience to the campaign with the "Observation" option

2019-01-02 Thread Ronak Shah
Yes, we also need this option instead of using targeting option we want to
use Observation setting.Currently every week we launch many campaigns via
API and its frustrating for us for having to login to account and manually
change setting.

Re: Can I check whether the logged-in user associated AdWords accounts to avoid AuthenticationError.NOT_ADS_USER?

2019-01-02 Thread Yoshimasa Tanabe
Hi Milind,

I want to know if we are on the same page. Is the following my
understanding correct?

1. On OAuth flow, it's not possible to prevent the users not associated
with any AdWords account from log-in/authorizing my application.
* I can't edit the user info as you said because the users are not mine
but my customer's.
2. Adwords API has no way to check whether or not the users are associated
with any AdWords account

Thank you very much for your supports.

=> Does it mean at my end (my web service) I cannot get Remarketing and
Similar audiences criteria as well as set add these criteria into a
campaign/adgroup?

2. Household Income categories: You may refer to the Income ranges listed

screenshot) so I ignored it. Do them map together? E.g: "90%+" (in the CSV)
is "Top 10%" (on the web UI), "80%-90%" is "11%-20%", etc.?

3. Custom Intent audience: You will need to add keywords to use custom

=> What you instructed is how to add CriterionCustomIntent

 into
AdGroup. What I want is replicating the search function (the 3rd
screenshot) in my web service. So the question is if my user enters a
keyword in my site, is there any API I can use to get the list of criteria
corresponding the keyword?

Hope my questions are clear :)

companyA has access to these cliends accounts (D,E,F,G...)

client of theirs F for example yet not revoke companyA;s access to
companyB;s MCC thus having access to the rest of the clients...

Re: Parallel Batch Jobs

2019-01-02 Thread 'Milind Sankeshware (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Samuel,

The standard access allows the developer token to execute an unlimited
number of operations and report requests per day. If the same application
makes a high number of requests per second on a single Google Ads account
managed by a manager account, the AdWords API Server may return a
RateExceededError for exceeding rate limit within the Account scope. You
could refer to this

best practice guide to implement batch job. Also, please refer to this

take control guide to avoid rate limit errors. You can refer to this

sample batch job code to add the campaign.

If you are facing any rate limit error, please share the request and
response logs so that I can assist you further. You can use 'Reply
privately to author' option while responding.

Thanks,

2019-01-02 Thread 'Milind Sankeshware (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Yalçın,

Since you are managing the accounts, you can add these credentials in the
config

file directly. You can also create your credentials to make the call
against the account. Usually, to make an API call to the client's account,
you need to have credentials of the user having access to the account or
the credentials of manager account. To make the API call please refer to
this
guide. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Re: GoogleWebAuthorizationBroker.AuthorizeAsync redirecturl

2019-01-02 Thread 'Teja Makani' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello Hannes,

If you got your client ID and secret only a few minutes ago, and you get an
error such as Error: redirect_uri_mismatch, it's possible the changes you
made haven't yet propagated. Wait for some time and try clicking the
Authorize API's button again. If the problem persists you could add the URI
http://127.0.0.1:43342/authorize/

 in
the API console and Authorize APIs as shown in the step-5
 of
this OAuth guide
.

Please give it a try and let me know if you are still facing issue and
share the error logs.

Re: .net Webforms oauth

2019-01-02 Thread 'Milind Sankeshware (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Hannes,

Please find my *inline* responses:

1) why I need this? or can i keep it empty in web.config

*To make the the API call against the AdWords account you will need to add
the OAuth credentials in the config file. OAuth2 enables your AdWords API
client app to access a user's Google Ads account without having to handle
or store the user's login info. These credentials should not be empty. *
2) to get a OAuth2ClientId and OAuth2ClientSecret - I have to buy a Google
Apps Domain?

*No, you will not require to buy domain. You can just create the client id
and secret by following the steps in this guide
.
 *
3) what is the purpose of that .Json (generate private Key)
*If you are looking for service account

 then
you will need to create the JSON file. If you would like to remove the user
intervention in OAuth flow, then you can use the OAuth service account. You
can create the service account by following the steps in this

 document.
Please note that we strongly recommend using installed app or web flows

 instead
of service accounts unless you need domain-specific features.*

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks,
Milind, AdWords API Team

You can use Campaign Criteria Report

way to sort the IPs. It is not possible to use any other report to get
these details. Please refer this Criteria Usage table

Re: GetCustomers not working

2019-01-02 Thread 'Bharani Cherukuri (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello Pankaj,

You only need to generate a refresh token once for each user whose
credentials you want to use. When generating the refresh token, you should
set the access_type to offline
 so
that you can retrieve new access tokens without re-prompting the user. If
you're generating a new refresh token every time, you are likely to run
into the limit on the number of active refresh tokens. Please check this
section of the OAuth guide
 for
more information.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Re: How to get constant data?

2019-01-02 Thread 'Bharani Cherukuri (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello Carrick,

Please find my response below for your concerns:

1. Remarketing and Similar audiences: A similar audiences list is created
from a remarketing list with at least 1,000 cookies with enough similarity
in search behavior to create a corresponding similar audience. Targeting
Similar audience is currently not supported through the API.

2. Household Income categories: You may refer to the Income ranges listed
here

 and
their respective Criterion IDs to add them as targeting criteria.

3. Custom Intent audience: You will need to add keywords to use custom
intent audiences. You may refer to this link

for
more details about custom intent audiences. You may use
AdGroupCriterionService

 to
add keywords with criteria type as CriterionCustomIntent

.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Is there some sample PHP code for monitoring and controlling rates for

Re: Possible CriterionType for audience criterions and how to download information via reporting

2019-01-02 Thread Sela Palomo
Hi,
thanks for you answer.
With missing i mean, I have the audience active in campaign level, for
instance in campaign1, this campaign has 3 adgroups, and each adgroup has
several criterions.
In the audience section of ads web tool (https://ads.google.com ) I see
that the campaign1-adgroup1-criterion1 has impressions and clicks but i
cannot download this criterion (adgroup1,criterion1) throught the criteria
performance report to know for instance the criterion type but i can
recover other criterions of this adgroup. This is happening with all the
criterions involve in the audiences
Im not filtering the UNKNOWS or any other value when i request the report.

Thank you very much

Re: how to revoke a client account thats we gained access through an MCC

2019-01-02 Thread 'Luis Xander Talag (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Eran,

Yes, I can confirm that it is possible to remove the link or access of the
other MCC account from its client account (you may refer to this guide

 as
to how), and retain the access of your MCC account to the said client
account, thus, making your account the client account's only remaining MCC
account.

Let me know if I misunderstood your concern.

Thanks,
Luis

Re: Possible CriterionType for audience criterions and how to download information via reporting

2019-01-02 Thread 'Luis Xander Talag (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Sela,

For your 1st and 2nd questions, can you clarify what you mean by "missing"
criterions? If you are referring to null values, then it is most likely
that this criteria type is UNKNOWN

 or
not supported in AdWords API. Otherwise, if by "missing", you are unable to
see some criterions from the Audience Performance Report in the Criteria
Performance Report, then this could be because the Criteria Performance
Report only records the most specific criteria which triggered the
impression in your ad as this is a single attribution report

.

For your 3rd querstion, the USER_LIST and USER_INTEREST types are possible
values for audience criteria (refer here

 for
more information).

Let me know if you have further clarifications.

Thanks,
Kevin

Api Call On Behalf Of Other Users

2019-01-02 Thread Yalçın Özveren
Hi,

I need to make Adwords API calls on behalf of other users. But I don't know
how. I can get data from my company's Adwords account via developer token,
client ID and client secret. But I don't know how to manage it for other
users.

I follow OAuth2 procedure and after user accepts and gives me permission, I
get access_token, refresh_token etc. for the user. How can I use these to
make a call to their account and, for example, list their campaigns or
keywords? I tried to build OfflineCredentials, called withRefreshToken
method providing the refresh_token I got for the user and it gives
me CUSTOMER_NOT_ACTIVE error. I'm very confused about what to do. So I'm
waiting for your help.

P.S.: I'm using Spring Boot if that helps.

Thanks.

How to get constant data?

2019-01-02 Thread carrick
Hi everyone,

I'm building a digital advertising web service. I'm having a problem in
getting constant data from AdWords API. According to this document
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/codes-formats, I
could:

   - Use ConstandDataService to get these data: *Affinity and custom
affinity* categories, *In-market and custom intent* categories, *Age
   range* categories, *Parental status* categories.
   - Download CSV data: *Gender* categories

But there are some data/functions which I could not found anywhere

   - Remarketing and similar audiences categories (see the below
   screenshot, the last section)

   - Household income categories (see the second below screenshot)

   - How does *Search target audiences* function (which API I can use to
   get the search result)?

If there is any document or demo how to get above data. Please share it
with me. I would appreciate any help!

Regards,
Carrick

GetCustomers() not working.

2019-01-02 Thread pankaj grover
Hello team,
We are using google Ads api for offline conversation tracking. We are uploading
conversations into our clients AdWords accounts. Our customers wants to
integrate their account with different customer id's in our application.

For this we are authorizing them more than once but we are getting refresh
token once per user.

After authorization we are fetching the customers under their account using
getCustomers() method of customer service.
In first attempt to getCustomers() is working properly but when our clients
authorize them second time we are getting the error "looks like your
application is not properly configured with OAuth2 parameter refresh token is
missing"

In the getCustomers() request the access token is correct but we are not
reciving the customers.
Please help us to find the solution.

GetCustomers not working

2019-01-02 Thread pankaj grover
Hello team,
We are using google Ads api for offline conversation tracking. We are
uploading conversations into our clients AdWords accounts. Our customers
wants to integrate their account with different customer id's in our
application.

For this we are authorizing them more than once but we are getting refresh
token once per user.

After authorization we are fetching the customers under their account
using getCustomers() method of customer service.
In first attempt to getCustomers() is working properly but when our clients
authorize them second time we are getting the error "looks like your
application is not properly configured with OAuth2 parameter refresh token
is missing"

In the getCustomers() request the access token is correct but we are not
reciving the cust

2019-01-02 Thread Eran Karaso
when we gain access to client ad accounts through an MCC. can our client
(MCC owner) revoke access to one of the client ad account under their MCC
or do they have to revoke access to the MCC thus removing our access to all

Re: Can we fetch CreativeUrlCustomParameters for Geo Performance Report ?

2019-01-02 Thread 'Dannison Yao (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Ankur,

Since the Geo Performance Report

 and Ad Performance Report

 are
aggregated in two different entities, then combining the field
CreativeUrlCustomParameters

 from
the other report type with the Geo Performance Report is not possible.

Regards,
Dannison
