I would say a propane with an auto start trigged by a voltage sense relay really helps you sleep at night. I had both voltage and current telemetry on everything. Daily graphs. Put a shunt in the ground wire of the batts so you can see charge and discharge current. From: Sean Heskett

Why not just a simple rental agreement with them putting the equipment on their inland marine policy? Sounds complicated. You would be better off being the prime, have the sub submit the invoices to you and you to the customer. Take your cut when the customer pays. I have done that before.
