Seth, Most SIP providers will tell you where their racks are physically located for x-connects or IXs if you ask the sales rep or their engineering support.  I've never had issues getting information down to the rack number when I have asked. I think a lot of it they keep under NDA for competitiv

We don't peer specifically. We choose data centers like INAP and Equinix that have lots of customers located in their centers and large peering fabrics built. I think of peering as more of a BGP thing, which I am more concerned about consistent low latency between my switch platform and my customer
