I can be too :-)
Talk to me next week. My new gig distributes Alpha Wireless antennas as well.
Thank you,

I have one of the KP's on a 3.6 450 AP at 160 feet. One SM of six is at 5.4
miles with a -77 and getting 4X. That as far as I'm willing to push it.
Probably the one and only we'll ever do now that we have Lite APs.
And its too bad there was not a lite 450i AP so we could deploy them
at rural
Does anyone know if the KPP dual slant omni is an Alpha AW3089 or a
knockoff? And has anyone used either of them?
My experience with 5 GHz dual pol omnis has been disappointing, I'm
wondering if these bigger, more expensive omnis deliver better performance.

We have an Alpha dual-slant omni on 2.4 GHz, and we're getting -62 dBm at ~~ 2
miles, with SNR 36 dBm. Will soon see if we can stretch that to 2.75

With DFS, omni’s are great at reduced distance shots in high-density,
high-vegetation environments.

And at these frequencies you would really have to use a full plate ground plane
due to the wavelength. Radials at 5.8 would be on the order of a half inch
long.

Nope
We have the Alpha AW3089 in use right now.
The most obvious difference with KPP is the electrical downtilt of 2
degrees, vs 4 degrees on the Alpha. In theory you'd get more distance
out of the KP, but the Alpha might be more deaf to distant noise.
The KPP spec sheet showed deeper nulls than
Nope. They are much more complex than antennas that make use of radials.
