We have a mid-range Dyson (D 25?) I don't recall the exact model number,
but my wife loves it. She brags about it all the time. I'm kind of
vacuum-impaired.

dyson upstairs and downstairs.. Only vacuum that the SO and
housekeepers haven't been able to destroy in less than a year... And

We have a Dyson DC-33 downstairs, works on hardwood or carpet, bagless
but you must clean the filter periodically.
A very good product.
Oreck upstairs, very light, uses bags though.
Another good vacuum.

I recently bought a refurb Dyson v6 on Amazon for $180. Best investment I
ever made. It replaced my hardwood cleaner and my bulky Kirby for carpets.
I can do my entire first floor in under 20 mins and still have plenty of
battery left. It's an engineering marvel. I highly recommend Dyson.

Hmm, the height that our couches sat off the floor was the exact height as the
roomba. So it wouldn't sense running into anything and happily drive under the
couch, then get all confused that it's wedged into something. I'm sure

The sharks are garbage from a quality standpoint. I like my Roomba, but
it's not a general purpose vacuum. I know there is a lot of hype, but the
Dysons really are a good vacuum if you can find a deal on one.
