I heard of some folks running BGP on their internal networks, like between core 
routing and tower 1, tower2, etc. Can someone tell me why this is a good idea, 
what else you need to do to make it work, and if there’s some place I can learn 
about it, like a reference design or some such? It seems it’s normally 
implemented with OSPF, MPLS, VPLS or just VLANs but I’m not sure what the sweet 
spot is for simplicity, scalability, hardware required, etc. 

I want to push routing further out to the perimeter, and quiet down my core 
routing a bit hopefully.
