I concur on the tires. Way, way better. However. In the other direction is the quality of land line phone service. I don't know about elsewhere, but in our rural setting, the landline phone service has completely fallen off the cliff. It's worse because whatever phone company does not want to spend a dime on repairing the old phone lines. Even worse than that, many of the places it's impossible to get any kind of internet service (including ours).
