Also have not seen one fail yet. Most likely to die thing is probably the
AC to DC wall wart which is cheap. Uses the same barrel size as many 3.5"
external HDD which are typically 12vdc 1.5a adapter.

I was thinking they might be useful for a customer premises 
router/CPE.one which we control, not the customer.
