was a joke, but probably not, they know theyre gonna get pirated left and right, why not monetize it as i understand it the box is allowed because it doesnt directly pirate anything. I wonder if its security through obscurity where they infrastructure houses a lot of the actual bad internet stuff, but since its hammered by housewives using the box to watch the view and charmed, authorities have a harder time filtering the bad content actors. I am seeing similar things were someone appears to be stripping Netflix content to Amazon servers then redistributing it to reflashed amazon sticks...
