This looks like a nearly identical box. The only change I noticed is the

You can buy an ONN brand Android TV box at Walmart for $20.  But
someone puts a digital clock on the front and loads a pirate TV
app on it, now it’s worth $250 or $350. And the hardware isn’t
illegal, just like burglar tools and lock cutters aren’t illegal.

And I notice these magic free TV box companies don’t say anything
about being able to watch network affiliates and cable channels
and NFL and Netflix for free on their website, they put that on
their social media site and Youtube videos.  Plausible deniability

was a joke, but probably not, they know theyre gonna get pirated left and
right, why not monetize it

as i understand it the box is allowed because it doesnt directly pirate
anything. Its the users pirating it.

>From a political standpoint theyre golden, the left wont come after them in
legislation because they want everything free and the right wont come after
them because holding a manufacturer responsible for a users action opens up
the gun manufacturer door.

The content streams are hosted in places where copyright isnt enforced and
mandatory ISP filtering isnt a thing that will ever work. Im guessing it
operates botnet style where a C&C keeps the content servers updated as they
get shut down and have to move. What I dont understand is how the
maintenance is paid on that infrastructure with the one time fee model. I
wonder if its security through obscurity where they infrastructure houses a
lot of the actual bad internet stuff, but since its hammered by housewives
using the box to watch the view and charmed, authorities have a harder time
filtering the bad content actors. May have to collect packets to see how
much content the bosses is serving outward onion

I wouldn't see how Netflix would invest if they're one of the ones being
pirated.

It was not clear to me that the box circumvented regular streaming
content, as they did not really call out the fact that you could get
