I vote as follows.

AGAINST. I strongly believe we either must have a serious discussion
about a formal language for rules (or, more appropriatly, rule
snippets), or we should just stick to standard natural language. I
really oppose this sort of pseudo-code format strings that can't
reasonably be considerer a natural use of language.

A better way to do it would be to create a rule, or perhaps append to
this one, definitions of particular standards. That is, if the level of
explicitness put forth by this proposal is considered necessary, then we
should make it so.

This would necessitate, I believe, a study into the ontology of the
rules. That is, what kind of entity can a rule demand to be reasonable?
Actions? Propositions? Predicates on actions? Predicates on
propositions? Etc. I am willing to contribute to this.

> 8673& Murphy 1.0 Mine!
AGAINST. I don't unserstand stones. I don't like stones. Sticks and
stones MAY break my bones, but, in the words of the popular philospher
collective Eels:

> [⋯] I won't listen to their words
> 'Cause I like
> Birds (Eels, I Like Birds)

---

> 8674& nix 1.0 Proper Postage v2
AGAINST. I appreciate the reordering, but I don't believe we should mint
peoples' stamps for them. The point of stamps, in my view, is that the
only ones in existence are the ones their types have minted. Contracts
fall in this category, as the action is made on behalf. This proposal,
however, breaks that rule. I'd rather increase the boatloads.

I transfer one card of that type to the bearer.

AGAINST. Thought about this for a good bit. I'm not convinced that
"reasonable" shouldn't stay wholly contextual/common law - we're accepting
a lot of complex multipart moves that I'd call "reasonable for a
well-informed officer but not "reasonable to players in general" so I'm
wondering if this truly codifying the existing precedents or if this is
making things more stringent. Either way, maybe need more discussion on
this one.

> 8673& Murphy 1.0 Mine!

FOR. Stones. Birds. Birdstones. Stoned birds. Love it.

> 8674& nix 1.0 Proper Postage v2

FOR - unlike the stamp-creating bird previously proposed, I think handing
someone their own stamp (which they can hold or straight out destroy if
they want) is reasonably welcoming/doesn't take any meaningful control of
stamps from each player?
