Our current anti-disruption mechanism is called Festivity; it basically allows us to start a temporary period in which only the more long- standing/established players can do anything, buying us enough time to change the rules to deal with the nuisance. We've never had to use it. (Of course, the mere fact that it's there serves as something of a deterrent in the first place.) -- ais523
