If the day a player first registered is unknown, that player CAN, with Agoran consent, declare a day to be eir Agoran Birthday. As long as the day a player first registered remains unknown, it is considered to be eir Agoran Birthday on the anniversary of the day e most recently declared as eir Agoran Birthday. I believe at some point Murphy declared a day, the calendar lists the 23rd of January, which I set at some point presumably based on that info. Let me look if I can find an email as evidence. -- nix

I'm terribly sorry. I know what happened. Your first registration date is recorded as `< 1996-01-23`. Lexicographically, that is *larger* than the following registration (which doesn't have a `<`). I'm actually not sure how to fix this situation. I am required by the rules to announce Murphy's birthday in a timely manner after its date. On the other hand, I simply cannot do it. Murphy's first registration is, as evidenced by the records, prior to 1996-01-23. But that's it. There are no other records. As, in this case, “the infracter [me] could not have avoided the infraction when exercising the highest reasonably possible standard of care”, any such infraction would be automatically forgiven. All this rests on the fact that, as far as I'm aware, Murphy has not chosen another day as eir birthday. Please do so. -- juan

nix via agora-discussion [2023-05-30 13:12]: > Thanks for this wonderful announcement juan, I really dig the format. Thanks nix! > What's the date at the top right? A testament of my incapacity to proof-read templates. It was supposed to be the date of announcement, and will be so in future ones. As this does not ratify in anyway, there's no fix to be made other than my sincere appologies. -- juan
