Sir/Madam, Sub: Circular of regarding the admission through Career Centric Computer Competitive Training Course (CCCCT) run by our trust. We are the registered trust Registration No.1418/2002 dated 25-10-2002. Apart from running free hostel for the poor visually challenged girls who want to pursue higher education in various colleges of Chennai from year 2003, we have recently started Career Centric Computer Competitive Training Course in our premises with free hostel facility from October 2016 with 12 girls. The above said course is intended to impart & improve knowledge and skills in computer and writing competitive exams conducted by TNPSC, Banks, Staff Selection, UPSC and so on. From one side we are enhancing the knowledge of visually challenged girls to appear for the competitive exam and succeed to secure employment from other side we are coaching those girls with computer instructors to attend the interviews in MNC and Established Private Companies. The Syllabus for the course 1. Computer – Basics Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet & Tactical diagrams with JAWS (Job accessibility with speech) and NVDA (Non Visual Desktop Access) 2. Numerics – Average, Percentage, Time & distance, Algebra & geometry, Time & Work, Simple & Compound Interest, Profit & Loss and so on with formulas. 3. Reasoning – Logical sequence of words, Cause & Effect, Seating arrangement, Arithmetic reasoning and so on. 4. Communication English – Spoken English, Writing English, Objective type English for competitive exams like spelling corrections, Grammar test, Sentence and comprehension corrections and so on. 5. Current affairs – IQ 6. Computer Awareness – Fundamentals, usage and updated versions of computer knowledge. We are conducting weekly/monthly/quarterly tests and model question papers of TNPSC / UPSC / Banks / Teet / other competitive exams to enhance the knowledge and skills of the girls. The qualification for this course is the Visually Challenged girls should have completed graduation or appearing for the final exam of the graduation. They should be poor and intending to complete the course and secure job. The course will be conducted for one year and search for the placement will be made by the trust. Continued to Page2... So far from the first batch of this course four candidates have already secured jobs in state bank, new india assurance, tnpsc and teet. We are keeping in touch with multinational companies to secure job in private employment for the remaining candidates and results are quiet positive. We are sure that we will place the remaining aspirants in different companies of it and other sectors. So we shall able to begin the next batch of our course in October 2017. Also we are issuing certificate for the successful completion of the course adjointly with enable india the most popular job securing agency in india of visually challenged.
