A Glimpse of 2017 Princess India Contest
The International Women’s Day on 8th March 2017 in Andheri, Mumbai was
celebrated with participants of beauty pageant Princess India 2016-17
for visually-challenged girls. This occasion was graced by celebrities
such as John Abraham, Subhash Ghai, Javed Ali and Bhagyashree, among
many others.
The winner of this beauty pageant was New Delhi-based 21-year-old
Simran Chawla and she got crowned by Mr. Abraham.  Talking about the
other winners, Surabhi Mudgal was from Hyderabad (first runner-up) and
Amrya Dastur from Punjab (second runner-up). There were even different
other categories at this event such as the best smile and the best
achiever.
-       The second runner up got a cash price of 21,000
-       the first runner up got a cash price of 31,000
-       The winner got a handsome cash price of 51,000 along with a Brand
New iPhone and of course the gorgeous crown too!

Princess India Contest 2018
After the first successful ‘Princess India’ context, Blind’s Dream in
collaboration with Radio Udaan is ready with the second ‘Princess
India’ pageant to be held on the occasion of International Women’s day
March 8th 2018. If you are a gorgeous visually challenged diva and you
feel that you have that spark and confidence then you must not miss
this golden opportunity. Who knows you become the next Princess India!
If you have always dreamed of getting attired in gorgeous lehengas,
ethic attires and gowns to walk down the ramp to flaunt grace,
confidence and charm, then it is your time to shine. Just register
yourself for this beautiful pageant. Registrations will be closed on
31st July. So, hurry up all you gorgeous ladies! And please note that

For registration, keep the following things in mind:
-       Make sure to fill all the given columns in the form i.e. your name,
phone number, address etc.
-       It is mandatory to attach your complete resume.
-       Upload your full length two photographs. (Pictures should not be
passport size). You should be clearly visible in the photograph you
share.
-       You can participate in this beauty contest only if you are in the
age group of 16 to 30.
-       Only 30 contestants will be selected for the first round. So, make
sure you share your best photographs.
-       The information shared by you should be true and authentic.
First Round
The first round can take place in any state of India. You will be
informed about your selection in the first round through a phone call.
Once you get eligible for the first stage of this beauty pageant, you
have to be ready for the following things:
-       A dance or any entertaining performance.
-       A ramp walk!
-       A presentation or speech by you.
-       Be prepared for questions to be answered.
These things will ensure your overall personality and confidence.
Tip: Just stay confident and give your best!

Rules and Regulations
-       The decision of the judges will be final and no one can question them.
-       If you don’t fill all the given information, you will be disqualified.
-       You have to be ready for any prompt performance during the rounds
-       Only 12 contestants will be selected for the second round. And for
final round, there will be three contestants: 2nd runner up, first
runner up and the winner.
-       The finale of this beauty pageant contest will be held in ‘Mumbai:
the city of dreams’.

Sameer Maunsuriis the founder of Blinds’ Dream and he has always been
passionate about doing things that make a difference in the lives of
visually impaired people. His gusto and devotion can be seen in his
deeds. So far, Blinds’ Dream has organized different types of shows
like ramp walks, singing competition, talent hunt and so on. All this
has been done under the innovative supervision of this man. It is
needless to say that Mr. Sameer Maunsuri has stirred curiosity,
enthusiasm and spark among the visually impaired people!
