 other external links with no issues until this one that I've

 the only change I have made recently to my Win 10 laptop is

do the following.
1st download the firefox version 47,.
uninstall the firefox from the programs and features on ctrl pannel.
then install the downloaded version 47 version on your lap/pc.
once installing the firefox, disable the updates by below method.
open the tools>options.
Select “Advanced“.

select the radio button which says "Never check for updates"

from now, your firefox wont update automatically.
